this is the infamous miss chiff's gossip blog. no one is really sure who actually runs this blog, but everyone is targeted.

[ ]dormatories ,

not all students board at st.claire prep, but the students who do need a place to stay, right? the dorms are located on the outskirts of the campus. the sports fields separate the dorms from the school buildings. the dorms are separated by gender. it is expected that you stay out of the opposite gender's dorm.

[ ]courtyard ,

the courtyard and walkway at st.claire prep are quite gorgeous, considering its in the heart of manhattan. there are flower beds that line certain areas. there are also many benches and picnic tables that are set out for student use. there is even a small pond in the center.

[ ]sports fields ,

the sports fields are located on the outskirts of the campus, rather close to central park. they separate the dorms from the school buildings and provide great space for the many different sports teams the school offers.

[ ]academic building ,

there are three academic buildings all interconnected. the first two buildings are for the younger students and the last building is where all the secondary students attend classes. the classes are separated by subject and placed on different floors.

[ ]arts building ,

the arts building is a new addition to the school. it is for both classes and after school activities that have to do with the arts, such as art, music, theater, dance and film.

[ ]recreation building ,

the rec building consists of an indoor pool and fitness center. it is occasionally used for the gym classes, but for the most part is open to the students to use. the pool is located on the bottom floor, and the upper floors are different fitness equipment as well as an indoor track.

[ ]great hall ,

the great hall is in the main building, and is what most schools would call the cafeteria. it is used for other events, but for the main part it is where students get food. it offers four meals a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack. unless they board here, most students choose to get food elsewhere.

there are so many places to eat in manhattan. no matter what type of cuisine you're looking for, it will have it.

manhattan is one of the best shopping areas in the world. with a large variety in the types of stores you're sure to find what you're looking for.

after all, new york city is the city that never sleeps. there's always something going on at night, whether you head out to the clubs, bars, concerts or just the late night cafes.

this is where everyone lives. whether you live in a fifth avenue penthouse or a one room apartment in booklyn you'll find them here. we don't do separate sub-boards because it's a pain to deal with.

this five star hotel was originally founded by henry golightly and this location is the original hotel that started the chain. once brynne took over, the hotel was remodeled and redecorated and now has a 1920's theme to it's decor.

obviously here is where you come if you are hurt or sick and need tending to.

central park is 1.32 square miles of public park. you can walk around, take a horse and carriage, ice skate or go to one of the many festivals and performances that are held there each year.

harlem is home to many historical landmarks relating to the civil rights movement. the apollo theater can also be found here.

the upper west side is a primarily residential and commercial area. it has more artistic, cultural workers compared to the upper east side.

the upper east side was once known as the silk stocking district. it is now the location of some of the most expensive houses in the U.S.

midtown includes the theater district, rockefeller center, time's square, hell's kitchen and madison square.

greenwich village, or "the village" is a mainly residential area. the majority of the NYU campus resides here and you can also find washington square park here.
